Open, closed
Who wants to know
You told us that you would open the doors
Close the kitchen, turn off the light
We kept flipping that sign to kitchen open
You came back in with the fridge open

You never yelled at us unless you heard footsteps in the night
"Go back to bed", you kept saying to us alright
We never thought this day would come
We would say good-bye and not get a hug, a kiss not one
Down we put you to rest
Grandma Marrocco, you will remain in the best of our hearts and will be missed; I will confess this.
Keep the doors open and wait for us there; the sign will never say closed, we will see you soon.
But, the hugs and kisses 'til then will be missed.
